Annual reports

The annual reports provide a snapshot of Victorian Veterans Council's obligation and commitment to supporting veterans and their families, and reporting to the Minister for Veterans on current and emerging issues affecting each generation of our veteran community.

The annual report provides a record of the Council’s:

• objectives
• achievements and highlights
• distribution of funds.

Strategies

As an independent advisory body, the Victorian Veterans Council provides advice to the Minister for Veterans on matters relating to Victoria’s veteran sector.

Veterans Sector Study Report 2022

The VVC has conducted three sector studies – in 2008, 2015 and most recently in 2022. These studies inform the Victorian Government about the challenges facing veterans and their families and help to design and deliver policies and programs that are relevant to community needs. The most recent study was conducted by Grosvenor Public Sector Advisory and submitted to the VVC for consideration in July 2022. The study made six recommendations, which were considered by the VVC.
